- [Instructor] The Surface from Curve Network man is definitely the most powerful organic modeling tool in Rhino. However, I occasionally run across some instances where it doesn't work as expected. Sometimes, it just depends on how your curves are organized. We're going to build a foot for our penguin friend here. We're going to zoom in. And this would be pretty much how most people would start. Let's analyze these curve structure here. We've got three curves, which kind of share this point or seam here at the end. I'm just going to call those the long direction, 'cause we have more curves going that way. And then we have this curve, which goes the opposite or shorter direction, kind of giving it a nice profile. So by all normal convention and thinking, this should work great. Let's go ahead and just draw a box around the curves here. Oops, we got to deselect the text, that will cause it to fail. Just the curves. Then…
