Repairing a mesh

- [Instructor] Even after you convert your model into a mesh you can still run into some unexpected issues. Sometimes you can create holes or unjoin seams that need to be addressed before you send it to the printer. So, here I have my cap ready to be 3D printed as it's converted into a mesh. But I may run into some issues because as I select it you can see that it's identified as an open mesh. Sometimes when you convert a model into a mesh you can create seams or holes that previously did not exist in your base model. So to fix this, Rhino has a handful of tools we can use before we export it as an STL. So if we go over to our Mesh Tools on this tab right here, we have a whole range of commands we could use to address any issues in our mesh.
