Rhino essentials
- [Dave] Hello, this is Dave Schultze and welcome to Rhino 6: Essential Training. If you are brand new to Rhino then you should probably start with the prior course, Rhino 6: Quick Start. The course you're watching now would then be the second in the series. We start off by covering the many ways to launch commands and then review some cool options for customizing the interface. Next up will be transformations. Moving, scaling, and rotating. Used correctly these commands are powerful ways to work faster and smarter. We then get into creating. The foundation of modeling in Rhino is drawing with curves, so we cover drawing a wide variety of lines, curves, and the built-in shapes. After curves, we make two D and three D surfaces. These range from the elegant and smooth loft, two kinds of revolve, and the real powerhouse command, surface from curve network. We'll be covering all these topics plus some extra tips and strategies that have been time and student tested over many years in my college classroom. You are now watching Rhino 6: Essential Training. Let's get this thing started!
