Rotating objects with Rotate and Gumball

- Now let's take a look at rotating objects in Rhino 5 for Mac. This is another fundamental modeling skill that you'll need for just about every project. We can rotate a few different ways in Rhino, using the Rotate or Rotate 3-D commands, as well as using the Gumball. I've got an example object here that will rotate, so let's take a look at the Rotate command first. This command rotates around one of the orthogonal axes, either X, Y, or Z, and we can find it under the Transform menu, so go ahead and click Rotate, and select my object, click Done, then we'll pick a Center of rotation and depending on where I place this point, I'll get different effects on where the rotation ends up. For now, I'll just set the Center of rotation at the world origin, so right at zero. Then we're prompted either for an Angle or a reference point, so we can do the rotation visually through the viewport, or if we know a specific rotation we'd like to make, we could just type that number right into the…
