Scaling objects

In this video let's take a look at how to scale objects, one, two or three dimensions. Just stop to think about it, a line can only be scaled in 2D because it doesn't have a third dimension. Likewise a point object can't be scaled at all. And then we have a solid object which can be scaled in either one, two or three dimensions. Let's start off with some 1D scaling of 2D geometry. Okay, we have a couple different methods to scale things. Two of them are very accurate, where we can input by size or percentage, and then the third way is just by eyeballing it to make it look good. Let's start off with the accurate size method. So, I'm going to make sure transform toolbar is up. Then we're going to do a 1d scale. And select this circle here, right click. You always have to give it an origin, so we gotta make sure that we have point snap on, center and quadrant. Think that'll work for the whole demo, the origin point is the center here I'm snapping the second point which is a radius of 20.…
