- [Instructor] Moving forward, we'll be working with our Revit imported model as the base file to build all of our scale model components. Right now, the digital model is a full one-to-one scale and we need to make it smaller so we can build a scale model version of this home. It's best not to just resize the model without considering a common scale ratio though. Using scale standards allows us to use off the shelf scale model, building materials and props. It also lets us understand at scale with a real world dimensions of our model are. When choosing a scale, I'd like to first consider what are good final overall dimensions for the building. For this project, I want my final dimensions to be about a foot by a foot in plan. So to figure out how to get my full scale building down to that size, I want to first confirm its current dimensions. To do that, I'm going to use a command called bounding box. So first I'm…
