- [Narrator] In this video we define the terms, size, units, and tolerance and explain the relationship inside of Rhino. Now, some beginners start modeling without checking any of these settings and end up with serious problems. Especially if they'll wanna make 3D prints or prototypes. Let's start off by avoiding calling these separate things really, because they're all interrelated. One of these will effect the others. Let's start off by defining size. You're always gonna build your object or design at its full and final size. It's pretty simple and don't overthink it. Rhino has a lot of space and will not run out. Units should be pretty straightforward as well. We're gonna use whatever is best for the job and you're most comfortable. So, just imagine that you're trying to visualize how big something is and you don't want to be surprised by using unfamiliar units. Work with the ones you're most comfortable and that'll increase your speed and also your design quality. And finally one…
