Setting up the layer palette

- [Voiceover] Let's take a quick look at setting up our layer pallets in Rhino. I'm gonna go over here to the Layers section. You have some options at the top here. You have your New Layer. You can delete, make a sub-layer. We can move our layers up and down when you have multiple layers. You have your Filters and your Tools, and a Help section. The only thing we need to do to set up our layer pallet is creating new layers, and we're gonna move them around later. The first layer I wanna create is, if we go and right-click here first, and click on New Layer. The first thing I wanna make is wires layer or curves. This is where you'll store all your existing or old curves when you're working throughout your scene or model. I'm gonna pick us a layer here, and it will be the yellow color. I would advise you to use the yellow because you never want a model with a yellow color. It's the same color as when you're selecting the model, so it's not a very smart color to use.
