- [Instructor] Rhino's SmartTrack feature gives us a system of temporary reference lines and points that we can use for snapping. To help us practice, I've got an exercise file called modeling-smartrack.3dm open. Let's say for example, we wanted to move this chess piece so that it was lined up vertically with this one and horizontally with this one. So, it would be right about here. Imagine that those pieces are forming a triangle. Almost like I'm starting to set up my chess board. I don't think grid snapping's going to help me here, because if I'm trying to line up the center points from the top view, I can see these are already not lined up with the grid. So, I don't think that's an option here. Let's see what we can do with SmartTrack. So, I'm selecting this piece. That's the one I'd like to move. Let's go to transform. Move.
