Smoothing surfaces

- Rhino's smooth command, allows us to edit all of the surfaces Control Points at the same time. To help us get a look at how this works, I've got the exercise files. SurfacesSmooth.3dm open, and you can see I have a freeform surface here with these kind of lots of Peaks and Valleys. So, let's go ahead and click to select that surface, let's turn Control Points on so we can just get a closer look at how this is made. So select Edit, Control Points, Control Points on from menu bar. And I can see these Control Points are kind of extreme both above and below the surface. And while there's nothing inherently wrong with a surface that's shaped like this or Control Points that are set up like this, maybe this just isn't what I want. Maybe this is too extreme, maybe I want sort of a more gentle Peak and Valley pattern in my surface. So for that, we can try the smooth command. So go ahead and select that surface, you know…
