Softening the edges for comfort
- [voiceover] Let's take a look now at softening the edges for comfort to the cuff. Now that we've created the offset surfaces for our enamel, we now have to prepare this model for production. And to do that, the first thing you have to do is establish some sort of comfort to the edges of the body here. So the first thing that I'm going to do is we're going to go into the project curves command. I'm going to use duplicate face border. I'm going to actually show you a different trick to filleting the corners without have to use the fillet edge command. There may be some times where you will be faced with the command not working at all, and this technique will show you how to force the filleting on your surface. So with that said, I'm going to use the duplicate face border command. I'm going to zoom in and select this face right here, and you'll see it wraps all the way around with some curves. I'm going to go ahead and hit the enter key. We can deselect just the curve we're working…
