Symmetry tools in T-Splines

- [Voiceover] Let's take a look at the symmetry command in T-Spline. Let's take a look at this icon right here. We have the on and off switch, so left click is to apply symmetry. The way it works is you first select an object and you'll always have to make sure that there is a split right down the middle, so you can apply your symmetry. We can go ahead first and select the object. Let's left click on the symmetry icon and you have these two options here. So let's first discuss what Add means and Discover means. So, since we have a model that's already somewhat symmetrical in this case, we have to work with Discover, meaning we have to give it its symmetry line. Add is something I'll cover in a few moments. It's if you only have one half of the model. So, let's first work with Discover, so I'm going to click it, then it will ask you do you have an axial symmetry you want to perform, or a radial? Clearly it's not a radial type shape where it goes around a centerpoint. We're going around…
