- [Narrator] In this course, we'll be using Rhinoceros version 5.2 for Mac. To run it, you'll need an Apple Mac with an Intel processor running OS X version 10.8.5, 10.9.5, 10.10, or 10.11. Ideally, you want at least eight gigabytes of RAM. Now, if you have less, Rhino still might run, but you might get a little bit bogged down as we get into more complex models. And 600 megabytes of disk space is what's required for the installation, though of course, you'll want more for saving out files. Additionally an Nvidia or an AMD graphics processor is recommended and you'll also need an internet connection for installation and validation of the license. So, those are the bare minimum requirements that we'll need to run Rhino for Mac. In the next chapters, we'll talk about some optional features and peripherals that can make using Rhino even easier.
