Trimming surfaces

- We'll take a look at the trim command in Rhino for Mac. To help us practice, I've got the exercise file, surfaces split.3dm open The trim command cuts and deletes selected portions of a surface along their intersections with another object. Now that other object could be another surface, it could be a curve and you can see we've got a set of example geometry here, that we can use to practice trimming. So let's go ahead up to the edit menu and select Trim to activate the Trim command. Now we're being prompted to select the cutting objects. So from the perspective viewport I'll go ahead and select these three curves as well as this smaller banded surface. Before we go onto the next step, let's take a look at our command options. We have extend cutting lines, so this can help us when our cutting objects don't perfectly intersect the thing that we'd like to trim. Now, in this case, I don't think that's going to apply, but in…
