- Hang on for this next lesson. What I'm about to show you has caused more than one Rhino student to shout out loud! I won't repeat what they said, but they were very happy. Okay, a little bit of background before we get into this. Rhino, you may not know remember all creation geometry even after it's been trimmed. Now this only applies to surfaces and not curves. Let me demonstrate by taking a look at this surface here that has been trimmed back both along the outside and those letters inside. I'm going to go ahead and hit F10 or you can just select control points on if you're on a Mac. Notice we've got these control points going out and away from the final shape that we're looking at, so that's one of your hints. Let's go ahead and turn those back off. Either F11 or right click on that same icon. To use this very powerful command we're going to go over to the main tool bar, and right where you see trim you're going to…
