Using the Named Position and Named View features
In this video, we'll explore two new and expanded features that are surprisingly easy to use, but also incredibly powerful and fun. The Named view allows you save the exact position of the perspective camera and the direction it's looking. The Named position is very similar in that it remembers the position and the rotation of all the geometry that you're seeing, that you allow it to. Let's check these out. First, I'm going to go over to the right panel and make sure we have the Named position opened, and docked. I'm going to right-click in this blank area, and there's my Named position. Just hit a check it. Now, if it doesn't automatically dock, sometimes it will fly out, you can just grab the tab. Out the top part, the tab, pop it right back in. So I've already got two named positions saved, let's check those guys out. I'm going to rotate here so we have the full effect of the drama.
