Next up, we explore more advanced environmental lighting techniques. Previously, we used two simple colors, black and white, for our sky dome lighting environment. Then we placed maps on those domes to simulate more complex environments. Now, we have a third option and a brand new feature called the V-Ray dome-light. This will be a huge improvement in quality. There's no real trade-offs, except for a slight increase in render time, which I think is totally worth it. So, obviously works best with a texture map, but the HDR formats are the best for this. Let's go ahead and insert one into the scene. I got the V-Ray toolbar open up here. And there's the cascading, all the lights, we're going to select Create Dome Light. I'd like you to place this in the top view port. It's actually kind of critical that it stays upright. It doesn't matter how big or where it goes or what angle of rotation. It's pretty much just an icon to know that it's there and then select it to change options. Okay…
