For this video, we will take a tour of Rhino's brand new gumball tool. If you've worked in other 3D software, you might have seen something very similar, either called a gizmo or a manipulator. We'll check out how you can use this gumball tool to make quick transforms to your geometry. But wait. You can even create basic extrusions, and copies, too. Let's start off with some moving practice so by default the gumball is probably not turned on. So I'm going to click down here at the bottom to activate it. Now anything I select afterwards, gets this little device with all the handles and arrows. So we've got three axis X,Y and Z and you can just click, on the arrows, hold and drag to move it, Ctrl+Z to move it back, same as the vertical. But it can also be quite accurate. For example, if I just click on the arrow head, then I get a text box so I can type in 22 units. And it will move.
