Viewing models with Shading Modes

- [Instructor] We now take a look at the variety of display modes for each viewport. Like many Rhino commands, you can access these a few different ways. One of the first ways is under the menu under View, and we have all the modes listed right in this section here. Right now we're on wireframe. The other way we can do it is clicking on the viewport label with the little arrow, and there they are at the top. Wireframe is still selected. So since we're on wireframe, let's talk about this briefly. You can see obviously that we're going right through the object visually. This can be a little bit confusing, but sometimes it's actually critical if you have a large, complicated file. Some of the other shading modes may slow down the computer just too much. Or if you can't find a part, sometimes going to wireframe mode makes it easier to spot inside or buried under other things.
