Welcome

- [Voiceover] Hello, this is Dave Schultze, and welcome to Rhino Project: Architectural Site and Building Envelope. In this course we cover the design and construction of both site landforms and a few different types of building enclosure systems. I'll start off by building a site from scratch using lofts to make smooth topography. We'll then look at ways to generate contour lines from a surface, or, generate a surface if we already have the contour lines. We then import our design graphics and build our foundation and terrace level. I then focus on making simple stairways, showing you a few cool tricks to make it easy and more importantly, avoid math completely. We then cover a few basic techniques for generating walls, roofing, and glass curtain walls. I'll then show you some techniques for changing or moving building openings, like for windows or doors. We'll be covering all these strategies, plus lots of my personal tips and tricks as we build this retro, funky, egg-shaped building and site. Let's get this thing started!
