Welcome
- [Instructor] Hello, this is Dave Schultze, and welcome to Rhino: Architectural Interior & Detailing. In this course, we cover a wide variety of interior and exterior detailing processes, all designed to make your work faster and more accurate. Both are critical for refining your design and to avoid running out of time before it's perfect. I'll start off by sharing some of my sweet strategies for dealing with skewed geometry and multi-story buildings. We then cover what to do with multiple buildings on one site and keep from getting disorganized. We also look at making different types of walls and how to best modify them when a design change is needed. I then focus on making stairways, landings, and even a spiral staircase. Plus, how to easily calculate the exact number of steps you'll need. I also show some cool tricks for making handrails and supports. We then create doors, windows, and even a screen wall for shading. We take a look at how to make different elements on a building align with each other, either horizontally or vertically. I'll then show you some very nice techniques for changing or moving any building opening, and then, how to add trim detailing to walls. We'll be covering all these strategies, plus lots of my personal tips and tricks, as we build this modern and retro building complex for the study of penguins. You are now watching Rhino: Architectural Interior & Detailing. Let's get it going!
