- [Jean Gorospe] Making a CAD model is so much more than hopping into any CAD software and then just starting to design. Taking the time to properly model your design in 3D can help you produce the product you need in your industry. Hi, I'm Jean Gorospe. I've been working as a CAD modeler for over 15 years in New York City. I have experienced working in jewelry, video games, toys and in fabrication. I have been very lucky to get my hand in many industries, learning so many techniques and practices. In this course, I will take you through a screwdriver model from 2D to 3D. We'll do that first by building the curves in Rhino. We will continue to build the surfaces and shape the model. After completing the model, we will convert it to use in Keyshot to create a photorealistic rendering for presentation. You should leave this course with the tools to make a proper 3D model as well as a photorealistic render. Alright, with that, let's get started.
