- [Instructor] Now that we have the basic framework of our building, we can start to add some detail windows and doors to make your model look a little bit more realistic. There are many ways to model these components. And they're usually built with a combination of material types and thicknesses. So let's turn on our base model to see what we're working with. So looking at our standard window, it looks like we're working with a window with two separate panes that are divided by an interior frame. It also looks like there's an exterior frame that is sitting on top of our clapboard. Now, I've already built this in real life. So let's look at that reference photo to see how we could build this window. So this is a process shot of that same window, and you can see that we're using four different types of materials.
