Working on the cockpit
- Now we're gonna work on finishing the cockpit to the body. First thing I'm gonna do is select this surface we've created. I wanna go into our Project Curves icon and left-click and hold. I'm gonna go and use this Duplicate Border command so we can extract a curve on the very edge of this entire surface. Then from here, I'm gonna go first and select the body, and we're gonna run the Split tool. And select the curve that we just created, then hit Enter. Take the surface that we created, and we're gonna actually hide it for now. I'm gonna take this surface that we split from the cockpit curve, and we're gonna take the gumball and we're gonna move it down. But before I let go, I'm gonna hold the Ctrl key, just so I can create an offset with that surface. It looks like the gumball's function is not working, so the other command we can try is to go into the Fillet Surface command and left-click and hold. And this time we'll use the Offset Surface.
