Toolpathing the top of a part

So a three-axis toolpath is generally made up of at least two operations. The first is going to be the roughing pass, when we hog out most of the material. And the second would be the finish pass where we come by and make everything look nice. So over here in the Program tab, I'll click on 3 Axis, and then Horizontal Roughing. Now for my regions, it's a little easier to see from the top, I'm just going to pick this circle and it wouldn't seem to make sense that only a circle could tell me how to do a 3D cut, but I'll show you why. So, select Drive in Containment, hit Enter. If you want, you can do your due diligence and put this circle into a region, so you can select it as Pre-defined, but for something so simple, it's not necessary. Now for the tool, similarly, I could have defined that in my Machining Objects browser. But instead I'll just go down to Create, Edit, and Select tool. And a rough pass wants a flat-bottom bit.
