Enable Windows subsystem for Linux
- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll learn how to enable the Windows Subsystem for Linux. The Windows Subsystem for Linux, or WSL for short, is included in Windows 10. However, it only works with 64-bit versions of Windows 10. Now, if you don't know, most likely you are running a 64-bit version, but it's just worth mentioning that it does require you to have a 64-bit version, and if you're in doubt, you can go to Settings, System, and About, and look to find out which version of Windows 10 you're running. Chances are, if you're using a recent piece of hardware with a recent installation of Windows 10, you're going to have the 64-bit version. Now, it also requires Windows 10 version 1607 or greater. If you've been keeping up to date with the Windows Updates, then you almost certainly have something newer than that.
