Creating search variants in SAP

- [Instructor] Sometimes, we need to run reports with the same search criteria over and over again. Search variants are a great shortcut to do just that. Let's create one now. To do this, we'll enter our list of sales orders report using transaction code VA05. Let's say we need to run the report on a weekly basis to see open sales orders in sales organization 1710. First, we'll enter our sales organization. We'll scroll down, and then, our organizational data area, in our sales organizational field, we'll enter 1710. Again, we only want to see open sales orders. So under our selection criteria area, we'll choose open sales orders. Now we're ready to save this as a variant. We'll choose the save as variant button. First, we need to name our variant. We'll call this 1710 OPOR, and in our description, we'll call this 1710 open orders. Now we'll press save.
