- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to be learning about 2D pockets. On the screen, you can see I've got three different pockets here, I've got a big one, a medium sized one, as well as a small pocket over here, in varying depths. Alright, so the first thing I want to do is come up here to 2D milling and come down here to 2D pocket. Alright, let's go ahead and select from the library, and I don't really have a tool that I want, so I'm going to go ahead and create a brand-new tool. In mill tool, I'm going to go over here to general, I'm going to call it tool number 12, and I'm going to call this a quarter-inch end mill. And, generally I'd fill out the vendor and product ID, if I knew the tool I was already using, but for this example I'm going to go ahead and just leave those off. As far as the material, I'm going to choose a carbide end mill, as far as the cutter, I don't want a bull-nose end mill, I want a flat-end mill, it's going to be quarter-inch diameter, so type point two…
