3D interconnect additional file types

- [Instructor] SolidWorks interconnect has now been updated to work with STEP files, IGES files, and ACIS files in SolidWorks 2018. Let me show you how it works. If you have a file on your computer, you've always had the ability to open a STEP file or an IGES file or an ACIS file and then covert it into being a SolidWorks file but using 3D interconnect, we can actually import that file directly and leave it as a STEP file or an IGES file on your file system and then if there's any changes, we can always update that file as well. Let me show you how it works. I've already got an assembly opened up right here. I'm going to go over here to Insert Component and come down here to the chapter four, 4.8, and I have a couple different files that I want to import. I'm going to switch over from a SolidWorks file.
