3D sketching on plane

- Now, when it comes to 3D sketching, there are a couple interesting things that relate to planes. Now, let's say with this 3D sketch, for example, I wanted to lock these points to this front plane. I can do so by going in, editing the sketch, grabbing one of their points, selecting the front plane, and then selecting on plane. This is going to move that sketch that that point is actually located on that plane. You can see the other point is still not located on the plane, 'cause I just drew it randomly. So I'm going to take that point, select it. Select the front plane and again, select on plane. Now, right now, it's giving me an over definition. This can happen when sketching in 3D Solidworks, so sometimes the 3D geometry just doesn't want to snap there, it's hard for it to solve. You can see, I've given it a random shape here. So what you can do sometimes is delete a feature that it's attached to and try again, and that sometimes gives it the ability to snap. Or you can take it and…
