Add advanced mates to an assembly

- [Narrator] In this movie, we're going to be covering some of the standard as well as the advanced mates you might see on the exam. So the first thing I need to to is bring in one additional part to this assembly, and my favorite way to do that is to have that part already open and then come over here to Window, Tile Horizontally, so you can see both of the parts or the part and the assembly, and then just do a drag and drop, so grab this component here and just drag it into your assembly. Then just go ahead and open that up full size. Now my general methodology for creating assemblies is do the easy mates first. So the first mate I'd probably add here would be come over here to Add Mate, and just go ahead and choose the outside of that rod and this little cradle where it might go into, and create that concentric mate.
