Add the block to a sketch in a new model
- [Narrator] So next step is to test the block to make sure that it works the way we expect. So we're going to switch over to SolidWorks and see how it works. So we're back in SolidWorks. We've got out Chapter 9 - Test file open and ready. We're in the Awesome Blocks folder of our Design Library, and you can see the panel cut out we created. So we can just drag and drop it onto that face. Notice we do not have to be in a sketch to add it. So I'm just going to place it right there, and then I'm going to green check, okay? So notice we've go this sketch here, and the sketch shows the block that we've placed. Now to locate it all we have to do is add some dimensions. So notice we're in sketch mode, and I can add a relation between the origin and that center point and line them up, and add a dimension. And it's placed, okay? It shows under defined because it doesn't see all the dimensions, but you don't have to fully define the block sketch. Now if you wanted to modify it, you can also…
