Add fillets and chamfers to a part
- [Narrator] Chamfers and fillet allow you to break and round over the edges of your part. Now it's a feature we can add to any existing solid. So right over here, I've got a boss extrude, number one, and I want to add some smooth corners here, so, let's head up here to the features tab, and then come over here to fillet, and directly below fillet is also chamfer. But let's start with fillet, and we have several different ways we can create fillet. The first one's going to be the constant size, fillet, then we've got the variable size fillet, we've got this face fillet as well as the full round. All right, so the first one is just going to be a constant size fillet. Let's go ahead and choose like this line right here, and put in something like a half of an inch, and you can see just quickly fillets arounds over that corner of the part.
