Add the new parts to the assembly
- [Instructor] Now we have four documents in total. We've got the assembly, the enclosure parent part, and now the two new enclosure halves, the top and the bottom. So we're going to add these two new parts into the assembly. Firstly, make sure that you've got the assembly and both of the new parts open in SolidWorks. Remember that you can press control tab to switch between your open documents. So you can see I've got the enclosure top, and the enclosure bottom open, but we're actually in the assembly. The two new parts that we're going to add are the exact same size as the enclosure parent part. So firstly we're going to hide that part. To do that all we need to do is move the mouse over it in the graphics area, and then press the tab key. So now you can see that the part has disappeared, but if you look over here on the left, we can see it's still in the parts tree. So we're still using those references it's just not visible.…
