Adding assemblies to drawings

- When we start making drawings for assemblies, we have the same drawing tools available to us, but our focus is a little bit different. Most of the time when we're starting in making a drawing for a part, we're going to be concerned about the actual dimensions that go into the part, maybe the material, the finish, and so on. When I'm making assembly drawing, I'm more concerned about which components are actually in the assembly, how the parts get put together, which hardware is being used, and so on. So, the focus is a little bit different, but we're basically using the same tools and going through the same process. So to get started with an assembly drawing for this one, go up to File, Make Drawing from Assembly. Go ahead and choose a Template. I'm going to choose the one from a second folder called Lynda Drawing, and click on OK. And then I can choose to bring in whichever view I like. And I'm going to choose over here the Back or the Front View Let's just choose the Front View…
