- Custom properties are metadata that state with the part you created. And when you're creating a drawing of one of those parts, a lot of that metadata will be brought into the drawing and show up down here, like in the title block or the who it's drawn by and the date and so on. So to add custom properties, if we click on the part here, I'm going to go back here to the part and let's bring it into view here. Here's my part. And right up here at the top of the screen, you can see, we have file properties and inside there, we've got summary custom properties and as well as figuration specific properties. So under custom properties, I'm going to go ahead and just look in there. I can click on this dropdown here and I can go ahead and grab any one of these values here.
