Adding sketched bends

- [Instructor] A sketch bend allows you to take an existing part and then just creating a couple of sketches, create individual bends based upon where those lines are added to your part. This is great for imported geometry. Or if you're starting from a part that was originally not a sheet metal part and you're converting it over to sheet metal and you wanna add in these bends, this is a great way to do it. So all we need to do is start on the top face. Start a sketch. And let's go ahead and just use a regular line. I'm gonna snap from that edge there and just go across the part. Now you have the ability to kinda just snap over here, but it doesn't really actually matter how long the line is. Click on Dimension. Let's dimension that to the end of the part. Let's type in .75. And there is our sketch bend. I'm gonna exit outta that. And we have that sketch highlighted. Now come over here to Sheet Metal and click on Sketched Bend. Alright?
