Adding structural members

- Structural members can be steel beams, like I-beams, channel, angle, or tubing, or we can design our own shapes. The structural members will be placed in the line segments that you created in both your 2D as well as your 3D sketches. I've got here two point one opened up, it looks a lot like what we were working with in chapter one here, and I've got basically like a little table that we're going to be working with. So, first things first is define your sketches. So I've got a couple of 2D sketches here defined. I don't have any 3D sketches yet, but we'll be working on those soon. But this is all I need to layout my design. I'm going to jump up to the Weldments toolbar, click on Weldments, so I'm turning that on making sure we do have a weldment here, and then choose a structural member. Now for the top of this thing I'm going to be using some channel. So, let's come down here to ANSI Inch, I'm going to choose C Channel, and for the size, I'm going to choose the three inch by five…
