Adding welded corners

- [Instructor] The welded corner feature inside of Solidworks allows you to get a nice visual representation of what your part will look like once a sheet metal part has been welded, and it also updates the mass property and volume of the part, so you can get an accurate representation of the final volume and mass of your part. Let's go ahead and show you how that works. So come up here to sheet metal, come over here to corners, and come down to welded corner. Now, corners to weld, let's go ahead and choose one of these surfaces. Now if you choose this surface here it might not work, but if you choose this surface over here, it automatically just creates a welded corner here. And notice this fillet looks pretty small, so you might wanna increase that to, maybe like, a quarter inch. And you can see here, you get a nice round fillet. It's gonna fill in that entire space and this open bend region down here at the bottom. Generally, it's a good idea to leave those regions, or those…
