Align

- [Instructor] Sometimes you have a lot of geometry on your screen, and you want to select it all and align it inside of a sketch to another sketch or another entity that already exists. In this example, I've got a sketch on my front plane and one on my top plane, and I want to shift it so that the center point of this circle lines up with the center point of this center point rectangle right here. So what I'm going to do is go to Tools, Sketch Tools, Align, and Align Sketch. And you can see here it kind of shows you that it's going to align point to point. Holding down Control, I'm going to select this point and then the point on the sketch. Hit Return once to accept that feature, and hit it one more time to initiate it. And you can see it shifted the entire sketch down to that point. This is similar to using the Move Entities feature, but we don't have to do is go through the process of selecting everything, which, if you have a very complex sketch with a lot of geometry, can be…
