- [Instructor] Inside a SOLIDWORKS, a lot of the features that we use to create our drawing views typically automatically add hatching or fills to signify where things are cutting through materials. So, we can see here in this section view that I created, I already have some automatic hatching that exists but you can also add hatching within boundaries that did not receive automatic hatching. So, you can put a solid pattern across hatch pattern anything you want inside of a closed sketch profile. So, let's say for example, you want to call out that you want some sanding in a specific region over here. So, I'm going to go ahead and use my sketch tool and I'm going to sketch some lines really quick and you can see I got that tangency picking me up. So, I'm going to hit Escape really quick and just do a box instead, it's going to be a little bit easier and a little bit quicker. So, I've got a closed profile right here and it is…
