Area hatch/fill
- [Instructor] Using the area hatch and fill feature in sketches is very easy. All it requires is a closed contour to exist for you to insert the hatch into. Here I've got some simple rectangles and I'm going to add some circles and just a rough shape over here making sure that it's a closed contour. We can see we've got shaded, closed contours on. I'm going to go up to tools, sketch tools, and all the way down towards the bottom, you might have to click the arrow down to see this, you're going to find area hatch fill. We're going to click on that feature, and basically you just select the contour that you want. So I'm going to select this one first. You can pick solid, you can pick hatch, you can pick none which is weird but if you have a hatch in there you can clear it out that way, sometimes. Here it has all of the ANSI and DIN standards.
