- [Instructor] If you've ever had to do a whole bunch of repetitive tasks like printing out documents or saving out file types and you haven't looked at the Task Scheduler, you might wanna take a look. Now the Task Scheduler is a separate program that generally installs with SOLIDWORKS but it's not actually SOLIDWORKS. It's a completely separate program. So you generally need to look at your Start menu and find the Task Scheduler. So once you have it opened up it looks a lot like this one right here and we have a whole bunch of things that we can do using the Task Scheduler. So right up here at the top we can convert files. So for instance if you were using SOLIDWORKS 2017 and you installed 2018 and you wanted to update all your files in your file system to the latest format, you could use this and it's gonna save you a whole lot of time versus doing this manually.
