- Almost all the parts we're gonna be making in the exam are either gonna be either an extrude or evolve to get started with. I'm gonna get started from the sketch we created in 2.1 and let's go ahead and create a boss extrude from that. Go to Features. Go to Boss Extrude. I'm gonna choose, obviously, this sketch here. It's just Sketch 1. We're gonna make this thing equal to C if you remember that from before and I actually have a variable already pre-set up for that so I'm gonna say that's equal to global variables. I'm gonna go choose C, and go ahead and just choose that. There it is. There's my basic extrude which we've gone over a few times but we want to make sure that we're very comfortable with the extrude command. Extruded cut has a few more options over here. One is I'm gonna take a sketch here and I'm just gonna make a circle randomly out here. This is gonna be very similar to the part we were gonna make.
