Change a face from solid to transparent

- [Instructor] For this trick, or this tip, we're going to be looking and learning about the change transparency command. Now we've already learned about the select other command, which allows you to select things that are inside of a model. But what if you want to just make the outside of your model transparent, so you can see to the inside? It's pretty straightforward and easy to do. If we choose any one of these faces out here, I can right click on it, and right over here, I can say change transparency. Click on that, and now, that face is 100% transparent, so you can see inside your model. Now if you want to continue doing that, no problem, just right click on these faces, say change transparency, and now you can see into that model. You can do this to any and all of the faces of your model, so it allows you to see what's going on, but you still get a good representation of the rest of your model.
