Choosing the correct projection angle

- When working with solidworks drawings, we need to make sure we're choosing the correct projection style. Now, what we're looking here at the screen is what's called a third angle projection. Now, if you're in the US, most time we do use a third angle projection style. But if you're pretty much anywhere else in the world, they use the first angle projection. So it's a very subtle difference between the two but if you're looking at a drawing, expecting it to be a certain way, it's very easy to get confused if you're looking at a first angle projection and you're expecting a third angle projection. Let me show you what a third angle projection is and then we'll compare that to a first angle projection and you can see why it's such a common mistake.
