Choosing the structural members

- Now that we have our Weldment profiles loaded we're ready to start defining where our structural members are going to lie. Let's go ahead and choose the Structural Member from the top. Let's click on ansi inch. Let's click on s section and choose a size of a 12 inch I-beam at 35 pounds per foot. There it is right there. And go ahead and choose this upper line right here. As soon as I do so, notice it defines that shape of that I-beam and puts it right on center. Now I have this shape defined, or actually my roof section, it's actually going to be hitting that edge of that line. So I want to make sure that I move this I-beam down and put this corner right here on the corner of the line. So I click on the Locate Profile button at the very bottom and choose the point I want to use. As soon as I do so, notice that moves down into that corner and then my roof section line directly comes across it. Now I could go ahead and add more of these lines if I wanted to.
