Copying, moving, and rotating parts
- [Instructor] Now that we have parts into our assembly, it's time to start rotating those parts around and getting them ready to mate. So let me show you the basic navigational tools inside of a SolidWorks assembly. Okay. So if you hold down the middle mouse button, the entire world will rotate around, very similar to the part environment. If you scroll in and scroll out, it will zoom in, zoom out, just like you'd expect, the same as the part environment. If you hold down shift, we can zoom in, zoom out. If you hold down control, we can pan right and left. All right, so those are all things that came from the part environment. Now, what if you want to rotate an individual piece around, right? We've got all these individual pieces in our assembly and you probably want to rotate those around. Well, if you click on the piece itself with a left mouse button click, you can drag that around, and it happens to drag around…
