- In segment three of the exam, you're given a bunch of components to download and then build some assemblies from those components. What we need to do first is to build an assembly and then create a custom coordinate system that we can then find the center of mass of these parts. More than likely, that is the type of questions you're going to be asked on the exam, so let me show you how to do this. First things first, I already have this part 5.1 opened up, and I want to create an assembly from this part. I'm going to do that by going up here to File and Make Assembly From Part. Click on the default template, click on OK, then just go ahead and just click on the green check mark when it's already selected here. That will drop the part you already had open right at the origin of the assembly.
