Create the heater bracket cover
- [Instructor] Next we're going to create a Bracket Cover. And this is pretty similar to the Heater Bracket that we just made. But this part actually covers the top of the cylinder and seals everything in place. Start in new Parts and start sketch on the Front Plane. Then draw a center rectangle fixed to the origin. It should be 60 millimeters wide and 100 millimeters high. Then we're going to do a mid-plane extrude two millimeters. So two millimeters thick, mid-plane and you can call this feature Base. Now we're going to round off these top edges. So select the Fillet tool 10 millimeter Fillet, and just select those two top edges. So now we've got a flat plate. That's basically the same size as that Heater Bracket that we just made. And we're going to add a hole on this face. Left click to select it and start a new sketch, and then just draw a circle. So it should be vertically lined up with the origin and it should be…
